General orientation to the area & key locations

Ceremony and reception location: Rustic Oaks, 12155 3rd St S, Moorhead, MN 56560

Hotel block: Radisson Blu Fargo, 201 5th St N, Fargo, ND 58102

The Fargo-Moorhead area consists of two cities: Fargo on the North Dakota side of the border and Moorhead on the Minnesota side of the border. Radisson Blu Fargo is in downtown Fargo. Rustic Oaks is south of Moorhead.

Transportation to and from the wedding

Some options for getting to the ceremony:

  • Driving yourself: It’s about a 25-minute drive from downtown Fargo to Rustic Oaks. Rustic Oaks has a large parking lot on-site. (You can leave your car parked overnight and retrieve it anytime before noon on Sunday if you’d like!)
  • Get a ride from us: We will have buses to transport guests from the Radisson Blu to Rustic Oaks before the ceremony
  • Rideshare: Uber is available in the Fargo-Moorhead area. An UberX ride from downtown Fargo to Rustic Oaks will likely cost around $40 on Saturday afternoon

Some options for getting back after the ceremony:

  • Driving yourself
  • Get a ride from us: We will have buses to transport guests back from Rustic Oaks to the Radisson Blu every 30-60 minutes throughout the evening
  • Taxi: If you want to use this option, we’d recommend calling one of the local taxi companies ahead of time to schedule your ride
  • Note: It may be difficult or you may need to wait a while for an Uber to pick you up from Rustic Oaks, given its distance from both downtown Fargo and Moorhead

Travel to and from Fargo-Moorhead

The airport closest to Rustic Oaks and the Radisson Blu is Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo, ND. FAR is about a 10-minute drive from the Radisson Blu.

FAR has nonstop flights to and from a limited number of cities. If you don’t like the flight itineraries or layover options from your starting point to FAR, consider flying to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and driving from there (approximately 3.5-hour drive).

There are 3 hotels in downtown Fargo, all about one block (0.1 miles) from each other:

  • We have a block of rooms reserved here for Friday, 7/25 (night before our wedding) and Saturday, 7/26 (night of our wedding)
  • If you wish to reserve a room in our block:

  • Room options in our block:
    • Room with 2 full beds, $189/night
    • Room with 1 king bed, $189/night
  • Radisson Blu also has a free airport shuttle. We recommend calling the hotel if you are interested in using it!
